to dance, cautiously shedding layers of protective armour
as they approach. . .


Battle weary hopes, bruised from life wounds, spark from within
the treasure chest of ourselves, fighting to be unleashed. . .


Common interests and not so common interests mesh together
and separate again, in a quest for mutual ground to stand
on without falling . .


Dreams hold hands and walk together, glancing backwards
upon separate paths,then forward to one uncertain road ahead. . .
giving hands, loving hands, soothing hands interlaced, each
fingertip caressing the life of the other. . .


Fiery passion soars the sky to touch the splendor of a rainbow,
floating upon the beauty of the colors, gliding downward where
hearts may finally rest in the perfect softness of the clouds
and of each other. . .


Joining together in this dance of beauty, honor, compassion and passion;
strength, gentleness, determination and hope. . .
Trusting together in this dance of truth and sensitivity,
of healing and grace. . .
Growing together, one heart open to the other without fear,
in this dance of the soul.
